Are budget earbuds with some impact but not a lot? This is my honest review; the hype about these earbuds is only hype. This is because, for the last 10 days, I've listened and done my assessment on the earphones from Baseus. Let's talk about the build quality, This is a Pro but the build is solid and rated for IPX6 and I experienced the waterproof while storm Ophelia hit New York City and we all were caught in the storm. I was so wet that the earbuds held up to the IPX6. There are winds and size ear tips; please use the right one for the best experience while using the earbuds. I notice this when using the wings and tips based on ear size.

Audio
The audio quality is good but after Flossy and I retuned the earbuds in the EQ settings and made the audio experience much more exciting. Don't get me wrong, the Pre-EQ settings do work but there was no punch in volume and the volume sounded low for some earbuds, after applying my settings (which I'd recommend) to your MA10 now. Please look at the EQ image settings. The MIDs received better tuning but still fell short, and this includes the Lows but the BASS is strong and sounds rich the treble also received a nice boost in the vocals. Con: the earbuds sound low out of the box and the max volume doesn't sound clear using some EQs and don't recommend increasing the volume. But when it comes to ANC it works better than others from my experience with other pro earbuds with better audio quality. But, without the music playing and going from indoor, to outdoor to commute mode in the ANC settings, they work but as I said not as well.

Gaming on Laptop and Mobile
To be as simple and straight to honest, they do sound much better on mobile. PC doesn't have the APP to control the EQ settings. You must turn off ios or Android Bluetooth on your devices to pair it to the laptop or PC

Battery life / Charging Case
Now I'd only like to listen to my music between 47 dB and 65dB with EQ settings and sleep with them in my ear overnight, the first few nights were ok. Until my right ear was being bothered by the wrong tips I was using and the wings. After fixing these issues my sleeping experience with them MA10 just got better. But they last on a full battery at volume 45db overnight and I had 20% battery life left over as the app to use the EQ and its features explained this to me. The charging case had the biggest battery I've seen and the case is big but feels good in the hand. No way you can't lose this case. Other than that, I could only charge the case once this week so battery life is a no-brainer.

Baseus App
The APP is super buggy and does work but will idle sometimes or not work at times. On iOS the app will idle or can't some the earbuds at times. On my Samsung S21Plus, the App did not locate the earbuds but did locate the earbuds using Bluetooth. There are developing issues with the app but then, this is a basic app with not many features, and you would have thought something so simple to create could make the experience of using the earbuds a good and a bad and ugly situation. Not a very good app and is not stable but the functions do work once the earbuds are detected and using the app.

(NOTE: These earbuds do not have sensor technology - detects when the user has the earbud in the ear or not. This results while listening to music auto-pause when detected while in use. Here is the issue with also using the app. It needs to have either cellphone services or wifi enabled to use the app in full control. This is concerning to me as many apps do not use wifi or your network provides it to use the app. This is very and highly a concern for me. This was performed without me using my cell carrier in airplane mode, in this test I wasn't able to use the EQ or any other features nor less I have wifi and provider enabled. Is the BASEUS APP tracking my every movement and tracking data of my usage?

Bluetooth 5.3 Experience
Now tons of reviews explain Bluetooth range but those reviews are done in urban neighborhoods and not in the city where I had Bluetooth issues with connectivity. My experience and I did document it, is that I can't get 30m without the earbuds showing weak strength to stay connected to iPhone 11Pro MAX but on my Samsung S21Plus, I got 55m before it disconnected and out of signal. The Connectivity is poor and these earbuds do not market at all the range of performance on the earbuds. The Bowie MA10 is not meant for place down and doing sports activities, it will disconnect. These earbuds can be used for sports but this means you need a phone case for the arm. Even when the phone is near me, the earbud's signals will drop from time to time but this isn't the only issue with the earbuds the gesture control sometimes does not respond fast enough to commands or gestures. My right earbuds are set up to forward/ skip a song and when I do, it does take a second to respond. It's not as fast but good enough to pass for a $30 earbud.

As of right now, the right earbuds now sound light lost volume and there is a bass noise or popping noise coming from the right earbuds. The earbuds were reset and nothing changed or got better. and if I was going to rate them, 3.8 out of 5 stars. They are good for the money you are spending it on but the questions in cons are concerns for weeks down the road with this product. It's good but not excellent and only wanted to see what the hype was about. Thank you for reading and there will be more updates soon.

@amazon and @Baseusofficial Dear Amazon AND bases I am so happy that you decided to ban it together with Baseus, Keep this in mind I purchased earbuds from you on Amazon and Baseus and I never asked for a refund on October 23rd, 2023 you sent me an Amazon message from Baseus about refunding me, this does not give you the right to file a complaint against my review. Oh, yes Baseus you did so and it was approved by Amazon after the Amazon community approved the review. For Amazon to agree with the complaint and action is highly unprofessional and this joint partnership made Amazon guilty of complying with Baseus knowing that this is against consumer rights laws.

and found some unethical behavior from the APP. This was reported before to the BBB and now you will be notified by the BBB about how unlawful and unconstitutional to remove my findings to gain on your behavior. As a journalist and a documentarian, that review was all the focus on the product and now banned me from making reviews on their products. On what legal ground do you have the right to discriminate against the First Amendment in good faith to leave an honest assessment? Since you removed my review without any notification or email again, I will report this because we have a few videos on the matter showing that my review was live on Amazon for many to read. By the way, the APP for these earbuds is tracking you and what you are doing on your device. I and other professional YouTube also can verify the claims. Baseus the brand decided to refund me because my finding was correct on October 23rd, 2023. Baseus, this was reported on Instagram too so there is a video showing random emails about a refund. So, Now I believe that Amazon and sellers like Baseus are in fact violating consumer rights and all of this for gain and profits? I am so happy you did this 8 times and yes Amazon, you removed a few reviews and they all were documented and archived for a reason and reported. This is so shameful on your part to ban me for being honest and smart about my assessment of this product. Good now, I have all the right to upload another video about this again.
